HAPPINESS IN MIND AND BODY

Many a times we suddenly feel unhappy and disappointed, This is what I am feeling now. but our mind is fluctuating, it does not stay on one particular thought. This type of problems are faced by many of them. One of the reason for such mindset is decrease of the chemical ENDORPHINS.

Endorphins are chemicals in the brain that have a feel good effect. these are natural opiates produced in the brain that have an analgesic effect on the human body. They reduce stress, help tolerating pain,boost the immune system, delay aging process and help fight food cravings. They are produced in the body by activities such as exercise, meditation, laughter and eating foods.

Exercise has several health benifits, Aerobic exercises are the best way to raise endorphine levels. Walking, Running, Swimming, and bicycling are some of the activities that are beneficial.

Mood foods:
There are various foods that help in creating a sensation of well-being such as chocolates, one must be cautious before indulging because of its high calorie intake, chilli peppers etc.

Massage:
A relaxing massage, sauna, steam bath, or meditation creates feel good effect. Music too is known to have a calm and soothing effect in the mind. YOGA is the best thing one should practice for positive signs in all health related problems.
